Reentering society after incarceration comes with real obstacles that can make starting over feel overwhelming. Many individuals face barriers to housing, employment, transportation, rebuilding family relationships, and overcoming the stigma attached to a criminal background.
For men, the pressure to provide, suppress emotions, and rebuild stability without support can lead to isolation, mental health struggles, and difficulty adjusting to structure and accountability outside of survival mode.
For women, reentry often includes rebuilding self-worth, healing from trauma, reconnecting with children and family, overcoming domestic violence or addiction, and finding safe, stable housing while trying to create a healthier future.
Without support, many people struggle simply because they do not have a stable environment, positive peer support, or guidance while rebuilding their lives.
Our homes are built around peer support, accountability, structure, and forward growth — providing a safe and respectful environment where individuals can focus on stability, healing, employment, rebuilding relationships, and moving forward one step at a time.
